Milestone builds to your publisher. Cert submissions to first-party. Preview builds to press. Concept art to an outsource studio on another continent. Every handoff is a potential leak—and in this industry, one leak can tank years of work.
RocketShare encrypts everything in your browser before upload. The encryption key only exists in the share link. Our servers never see your files. Not "we promise not to look"—we literally can't.
Every handoff is a risk
You already know the horror stories. Source code dumped online. Entire storylines spoiled months before launch. Screenshot leaks from a QA partner's compromised laptop.
Most of these don't happen through sophisticated hacks. They happen because someone's Google Drive got phished, or a WeTransfer link got forwarded to the wrong person, or a cloud provider's employee had access they shouldn't have.
RocketShare removes the middleman from the equation. Files are encrypted on your machine with AES-256-GCM. The key travels inside the URL fragment—it never hits our servers. Even if we got breached, all an attacker would find is encrypted noise.
The files game dev actually produces
Vertical slice builds. Uncompressed cinematics. 4K texture atlases. Full audio banks. A single milestone delivery can be tens of gigabytes. RocketShare handles large files without compression, re-encoding, or quality loss. What you upload is exactly what your partner downloads.
Expiring links that match your pipeline
Sharing a milestone build with your publisher for review? Set it to expire when the review window closes. Sending a trailer to press under embargo? The link dies the day after the announcement. Handing off assets to an outsource partner for a sprint? Two weeks, then it's gone.
No shared drives to audit. No permissions to revoke. No "can you delete that build from last quarter" emails.
Everyone you work with, zero onboarding
External QA houses. Localization teams. Freelance concept artists. Voice and mo-cap talent. Platform cert reviewers. Your publishing partner's marketing team. None of them need to create an account or install anything. They click a link, they download. That's it.
How it works
- Upload your files
- They're encrypted in your browser before they leave your machine
- Share the link with your partner
- They click and download
- The link expires on your schedule
No keys stored on our servers. No access for us to grant or revoke. Your IP stays yours.
